Glacier National Park Adventure - July 2010

Yes, here we are about to enter one of the most beautiful National Parks in the World.

Site back, relax and watch the picture show you are about to see.

This the "Momster" in her tent with all the comforts of home...including her ariobed...it took a 75 foot cord from the restroom to the ariobe to pump it up.
We at a boat dock about to take a very windy and bumpy ride across the large to do some hiking.  The driver of the boat was having a great time hitting the 5 foot waves that splashed over the top of the boat.

This a picture of the boat...the one with the top on it.
This a picture of the boat driver (a very young guy who drove the boat very fast). The other person speaking with the microphone is our Park Range  guide.

This next several pictures are taken from the boat of the beautiful mountains
We have now parked the boat and are leaving for our hike the the Park Ranger
This is the wood boat dock and ramp to start our hiking adventure.
We are now staring our hike...This is a waterfall...it was cold as you can tell by all our clothing.
This a picture of the "Momster" all bundled up...keep in mind this was the second of July, 2010.
This is our Park Ranger telling us about the trail.
This was another waterfall on the trail.
Yes, you guessed it...this is the "Momster" doing a Smoothie move....
More information being given by the Park Ranger on the hike.
More of the trail......
This is just me pointing to this old tree....just about as old as me.....

I am ending "Part I" with this beautiful view of Glacier National Park....

The Montana Homestead

Essential equipment to run the "Homestead". The only way to ranch is with a John Deere.
